pavyedav | boredom and inherent curiosity, in one

After waking up in the morning everyday, I do what I like to call “my rounds.” This is the daily array of news and blogs that I must read in order to keep up with the world. I go to different sports, news, and political sites during this activity too, but I wanted to reveal specifically the tech blogs that I frequent. Undoubtedly everyone has a variation of this, so the following is my list of sites (wrt science and tech) that I go to, everyday, without fail:

Gizmodo

Lifehacker

Fierce Wireless

GigaOm

DailyTech

Boy Genius Report

Engadget

Technology Review

Ars Technica

NYTimes BITS

I also StumbleUpon tech sites and often go to Reddit and Quora to see what is trending and what different questions are being asked.

Some of these sites cover the same material, which usually consists of product launches, reviews, tech gossip, and opinion columns, and others are purely science-based and offer insight into groundbreaking research that is being done at different universities. Many of these are very popular, so they will probably come as no surprise. The purpose of this post was simply to share the sites that I go to relating to science and technology, and possibly get suggestions about other sites/blogs that I could start visiting. I’m sure everyone has their different routines and sites that they have, so please share your internet experience (don’t feel obligated to limit it to science and technology either.)
